I have also found many similar examples like the ones you've shown here. It seems that the nose, mouth, and eyes were given particular attention. It is many times the eye that gives the "face" away because many times it seems to be proportionally right where you'd expect it to be. Good stuff, I have to get motivated and send in some pictures.
